What one can ask for in a fiction book is suspense,
treasure hunt, multiple characters and an adventurous ride for readers delight.
The book The Patriots Legacy “Forbidden Treasure” by Apurva Bhuta has it all
packaged. I read this book few months ago and posted a mini review of it on
social handles but I feel this book needs more attention for my readers to know
more about this book. So here we have an analytical book review of the book.
Book Title: The Patriots Legacy FORBIDDEN TREASURE
Author : Apurva Bhuta
This book is Apurva Bhuta’s debut novel who is an
entrepreneur nested in Mumbai. His interest towards storytelling started with
the bed time stories to his kid. He is a dreamer and this adventure story is a
hard-work of 3 years. Know more about him at Instagram/apurvabhuta
Book Cover:
In the first edition of the book the cover had illuminated
stones and a mountain picture in the centre which makes a reader curious about
the treasure whereabouts.
In the second edition all seven characters are
standing in V pattern with a treasure box in the centre and the rising sun in
the background with subtle symbols in the background make the book more
appealing.
The Breath taking Plot:
The treasure hunt story that has 7 people who are
from different parts of the world to find decades old treasure with their
courage and mind hired by a mysterious lady. One man who is brutal to the
fullest is also behind this treasure and is using his every mean to get hold on
these 7 people. Every world’s wonder has a clue and can be decoded by a person
and the next clue takes them to next one and so on unless they lastly reach
India.
How they crack the codes and reach the treasure is
pure exciting journey to be on.
Who takes treasure and were all 7 dedicated to find
the treasure or just playing games for self.
Treasure Leads of the Story:
The story revolves around 7 characters , which are
brilliantly essayed by the author. How all 7 youngsters teams up to find the
thousands years old treasure is surely a delight to read.
Story takes you to seven different countries and 7
world wonders are related with the clues of the ultimate treasure is perfectly
written in 8 chapters. Even the minuest details of the culture and
characters portrayal are done perfectly.
All the points are so well connected that readers
hold the grip of the story.
Story starts at Petra and ends in different part of the world with all
seven characters Michael, Vishal, Teressa, Aaron, Mohammad, Jenny and Linda
each from variant part of the world and with unique ability to crack the codes
which are in a puzzle manner. For example “Behold his eyes. They say thousand
words. Look what the blood reveals”. Such code made me also solve the puzzle with most seriousness, then realised I am reading and not winning any treasure at the end, hehe.
Slip in race:
At first you may get confused with story taking
turns so grasp up your speed of understanding and pace up for some mindful plot
from the page one itself.
I feel, at a point in story 2 set of characters
have a love angle taking forward in a single page, it could have been bought in
with more conviction.
Final Word:
Read this amazing book to get your senses move with
the treasure hunters. Very well crafted story that will make readers urge to
find a treasure with 7 treasure hunters. Have a world tour and gather your
knowledge to crack the codes with these characters. Who gets most out of this
treasure hunt journey is roller coaster ride. And I am very sure if this story turn into a web series for treasure hunters, this will be a good one.
