“Life in The Sunshine” novel debut by T.Sathish for all the cricket lovers and the friendships that bonded in the cricket matches.

with the title track, which is about the Cricket favorite sport of most Indians.
A young lad playing cricket by the beach is very beautiful and tempted to kick
start the book.
About The Author: T Sathish is an IIM Calcutta
alumnus and works in Cognizant Technology Solutions. He is an avid sports fan
and a writer. He also writes columns in the cricket section of worldinsport.com
and has published a short story named "Hang In There" on Juggernaut's
publishing digital writing platform.
Plot:
The Book takes us back to the
year 1983 when India won the prestigious world cup, an era when color TV were
very rare and the enthusiasm for the sport was tremendous. The story revolves
around the three teenagers Sam, Sat and Trib who are die hard fan of cricket
and want to peruse their career as a cricketer. The trio called themselves,
'Triple Sundae' dreamt of playing for Indian cricket team some day. From school
days to college life, each of them struggles with many different factors but
their determination lives strong. Sam being the best among the three gets
selected in the state team but Sat and Trib have something else in their
fortune. Trib wanted to become a commentator where as Sat tries his hand on
batting, bowling and what not to attain his dream. He always wanted to read the
copybook, an imaginary book, which could have helped him with various tricks
during the play.
There are many other characters
in the story, which adds up the humor, emotions, love and friendship.
How does Sat and Trib manage to
go ahead in life? Did they attain what they wanted or the end up with something
else? will be a great read.
It is the autobiography of Sathish(Sat)
who has narrated the complete journey in an innovative way and believes that to
love something is more important than to achieve it.

The book is definitely for the cricket fans that
would enjoy the writer’s style of narrating cricket matches wherever possible.

The flow of events is well connected with the explanations
of different matches played by Indian Cricket team.

The added advantage is that the book includes
the minute details of all the matches including the names of the team members
and the scoreboard as well.

Very creative and imaginative elements are added
just at the right time.
Missed the bat:

The book becomes a bit draggy, as the story
progresses a few elements seems repetitive. The author could have wrapped up
things early.

The sub-titles could have been more catchy and
innovative.
The Final Score Board:
The book definitely is for
those who love cricket and have the knowledge of the game. It is a sweet and
innocent narrative from childhood to adulthood with a beautiful message that
life is too short and is very unpredictable, there may be ups and downs but
take them with the right attitude.

The message seems pretty straight up, very well relative for a book for sports enthusiasts. After reading the plot, I am curious to read the whole book now, wanting to get my hands on this book.
