Questioning the Real Beauty : Where is Beauty ?

We all are well aware of the quotation that “beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.” Is it true in all aspects of life or just a saying?
One may find a bright orange color best for their wedding dress, whereas someone else chooses contrastingly pastel pink. At the end of the day, both the brides look beautiful, donning their favorite color attire.
So what makes both of them elegant?

How to be FIT in WINTERS with YOGA

Winter season is already knocking the doors in many parts of the world, which brings lots of changes. Be it with food habits, skin, clothing, and of course a change in our routine too. You can look at these healthy collection of soup recipes for keeping yourself warm and healthy at same time. We all like to stay warm and cozy in winters and have hot cup of soup or coffee and spend the days calmly.

Yes a winter brings along a sense of calmness and peace along but our routine of work and house has to go on in similar manner, season just changes the way we lead our schedule. Winters definitely make it little difficult to step out of our house for things that are not dictated.

Comfortable baby with right Baby products

Being cautious in every move you take becomes a general tendency of a mother in respect to their children. And yes mothers do take utmost care when it comes to health of a child. I feel a child is happy when he/ she is in most comfortable environment. Be it atmosphere of the house, the vibes, clothes kids wear and even the products applied to them.

Toddlers, who can hardly express themselves, have their cute expressions to convey their messages. Furthermore only can cry to display their discomfort and its parents whose deduction and analysis of situation then understand the actual problem and act to resolve it and make the child comfortable again.

Mysterious Deed

“Where do you go every alternate full moon day?” Joe questioned Shanon.

“We had a pact that you will never ask about it”. Shanon replied and left to complete another historian project leaving Joe puzzled.

Not this time thought Joe and quietly followed her. He could see Shanon hastily entering an abandoned out-house door and chewing a strange fruit.

An innocent Remembrance: Poem for GRANDPARENTS

“I am lucky I have all the four to adore, cuddle, teach, play, understand and support. I love them immensely and truly.”

You all might have already guessed for whom 4 I am referring to, for sure they are the grandparents. Their love and blessings showered on us makes us stronger.

But unfortunately I am not that lucky, I could not spend time with my grandfathers and always wondered how it would be to talk to and play with grandfathers. Though both maternal and paternal grandmother showered their love on us and we were their darling granddaughters somewhere in my heart there is a vacuum that miss my grandfathers affection.

3 Reasons to celebrate Eco-friendly GANESH CHATURTI

Every festival rings in positivity along and so is the festival of Ganesh Chaturti. Ganesh Chaturti marks the new beginning all-together and Lord Ganesh who is also popularly known as Vighanharta showers his blessings upon us. With this divine beginning let us all begin to love and care our nature, which will lead us towards a more richer and healthier future.

It is always said that festivals should be celebrated with full enthusiasm and devotion towards lords and yes we all do it. Key element of a festival is to grow and prosper, But are we forgetting this key element while celebrating Ganesh Chaturti. We all have witnessed what we harm we have done to nature and still we are not restricting ourselves for further destruction.

A few steps when taken care can bring in many fruitful changes to our environment. And surely Gods will also be happy with our ways to celebrate festival. So let’s see simple 3 steps this Ganesh Chaturti to mark it’s beginning on a positive note and maintains balance in nature.

1. Respecting & Love thy Nature: It is believed in Hindu mythology that God exists in the minutest particles present around us. Remember the saying “kan kan mein bhagwan baste hai”, (In every tiny particle God resides) so one must carefully utilize the resources that nature has gifted us and respect each particle of nature. So this time let us welcome an eco friendly lord Ganesha idol painted using natural colors. By doing so we will respect our nature we come closer to God.

2. Recognizing Greatwater bodies: Our major part of our earth is surrounded by water and is the home for millions of species. Non-ecofriendly Ganesha idols when immersed in oceans and seas brings a major imbalance in the environment and flora-fauna are most effected by this act. Our one day act leads to years of work to clean these water bodies and yet we are unable to clean it completely.

One must respect the 'Jal Dev', The God Of Water in Hindu mythology by not polluting it by immersing idols that are made of plaster of Paris and fibers that are not easily dissolved in water. We cannot make the most of this festival if we are causing harm to someone else.

3. Valuing fresh Air: The grandeur of Lord Ganesha is celebrated by burning firecrackers and is done to such an extent that we fail to see lord idol in the smog of fire crackers. The smoke emitted by firecrackers is so harsh that we can’t even sing and say chants and bhajans for Lord Ganesh during such an auspicious days.

·     While celebrating festivals we should question ourselves these questions.

·     Does God need us to celebrate a festival by destroying nature?

·     Does God say us to celebrate festival in a grand manner or by heart?

·     Does celebration takes toll on God’s creations?

·     Are we making one God happy by making another one sad?

While answering these questions be honest to yourself and proceed with the celebrations of welcoming Lord Ganesh today. Wishing you all “HAPPY GANESH CHATURTI”. Hoping these pointers are taken care while celebrating this festival and not burdening Vighanharta with more man made vighans. (Vighan means obstacle and Vighanharta means person who removes obstacles).
