Colgate has once again come up with wonderful concept of
story telling for kids where kids weave story with their imagination and we all
know once a children has a fore foot in story you are surely to visit various
places in the story line. Keeping this in mind Colgate has all new Space &
Interstellar based characters and themes printed on their packs, which can
be easily cut out by children on the dotted line (under adult supervision).
Colgate theme is Space & Interstellar and to name, few are ‘Space Launch,
Space Walk and Alien planet’. Definition
and informative bits about the cut outs is also given, which makes kids more
intrigued with the story. Colgate in association with Blogadda has sent me a
packs of theme based Colgate toothpaste, so here is the story my daughter has
created.

Jake & Ruby are best of buddies and decide to complete
their science project of Solar system together. They have a magical book which
opens up on their special call “Whoosh Whoosh Whoosh, create Astronomical land”
and in few seconds all the devices and gadgets and even rocket are generated.
Jake and Ruby wears space suits and gears up for their science project, which
is to calculate length between the planets. Rocket is launched successfully and
they are in space in no time. (As this is kids story they reach within minutes,
though it takes many days to reach there J)
Rocket RJ (Ruby & Jake) starts from Mercury and starts
from there and suddenly Ruby realizes that her system is showing a comet on the
way and swiftly takes decision to move Rover in another direction. And when
they reach Venus and come out of their space ship Jake excitedly starts moving
ahead and takes out his gadget called ‘MagicCollector Gadget’, which collects
sample of the planet. Ruby, who is now getting ready to take exit from space ship,
detects a blue smoke from nearby mountain. When alerted by Ruby, Jake also
notices it and his gadget tells them it’s a smoke of extra-terrestrial plant.
To know more they both carefully reach at the bottom of the mountain to their
horror they see an Alien.
Alien is all set to attack Ruby and Jake with his ten-eyed
gun and Jake with his hi-tech gun. After few minutes Ruby stops them and tries
to talk to Alien. Ruby has a special gadget called Lingo gadget, which
understands and interpret any language. Alien tells her that his name is Zimbo
and he is guarding the mountain. And when asked why he is doing so; he answers
that by burning these plants they get energy and only his master is permitted
to do so. Jake and Ruby surprised by the act suggests him burning any type of
plants is injustice to environment and he should stop his master from it.
Zimbo understands it and stops his master from doing it
further; he also gives them all the solar system details and figures then bids
them a good bye. Now team RJ sets back to home in their space ship with memento
their new friend Zimbo has given them. Guessing what it could be, it’s a blue coloured
plants. And they return back to their normal life by saying ‘Whoosh Whoosh
Whoosh, back to man-land.
This story essays many aspects, kids easily make friends and
can make anywhere plus they apply their learning’s immediately. Thank you
Colgate and Blogadda for enhancing story-telling activity in kids.
