Make One to Meet One

Hi,

Hope you remember me. With great zeal and true heart you gave me life and promised to keep up with what you said. I was appreciated a lot by your friends on social networking sites.

I was happy that I got a partner. But who knew soon my thoughts would be in vain. I felt neglected and slowly forgotten. I urged many times to remind you about your commitments but nothing worked out.

I lay broken somewhere.....

Hmm…I know the time has come to revive me, to care for me and mend me back. I know you will once again need me.

Oh! Why not I am ready to forget the past and stand by your side. I want your support to reach the goal.

At last I have only one thing to say “Make One to Meet One”.

Yours truly,
Resolution

Are you still waiting for Santa ?

This post has won WOW Badge from Blogadda :)

Christmas is here and you must be waiting for Santa to shower gifts and happiness in your life. And for some to your surprise Santa Claus didn’t turn up. Will you still be waiting for him to make your days jolly? Can’t we share the responsibility of Santa?

Wondering how to do that, it’s simple “Be your own Santa”, as you know the best what’s your longing wish, gift yourself the choicest presents that makes you cheerful.
Aura of thoughts - Festival - Christmas

If you are content with joys, then surely its time to spread the joy and happiness; be Santa for others and feel the thrill in their joy.

In this festive season “be happy and make others happy too”. Wishing you all “Merry Christmas” and “Happy New Year”

Forgive & Grow

Glad to cross a milestone of 200th post and 50,000 footfalls :)

Prem entered Rahul’s residence for final good-bye as he felt they are no more on friendship terms.

“So you still like the calmness of greenery, I thought you have changed your preferences”, said Prem in complaint tone to Rahul who was gazing from kitchen window.
“I have always the same priorities Prem, though our meetings were not fruitful due to tense circumstances” and I am not vengeful as you were told by mediators.

Rahul’s gestures touched Prem, he understood that their decades of friendship could not be broken by limited savage incidents.

Prem hugged Rahul and whispered “I got my friend back, though after few bitter incidents but it’s still okay”.

Let's welcome the coming year with a heart free from all sorts of conflicts.

Double Delight : Aura turns 2

Anything that doubles up makes its own difference. It’s our double delight to share with you that our blog has completed two years. Time just took a leap and kept teaching many novice aspects. It is surely a double delight as we have double up our thoughts, our experience, our friends and positivity. We hope to render the same positive attitude throughout our posts and hope to come up with many more in near future. The path way of blogging made us to shake hands with our blogger friends who has a great contribution in teaching us various aspects like style of writing, different forms of poetry writing.
Our main objective to start blog writing is our positive approach in how worse the situations may be. We act the way we think or we can only act when our thinking is good. We believe that we only grow when we chuck out negativity. So, welcome to the world of Aura’s thoughts and notice the way we grow in every aspect.

Book Review - When Our Worlds Collide

The Book ‘When Our Worlds Collide’ by Aniesha Brahma is her third work of fiction and first Novella. The story portrays beautifully as to how one can influence someone they love by helping them achieve what they really want to. We at times fail to move ahead or keep our happiness as a second priority. This novella is unique which comes up with an inspiring message that one should always do what our heart tells us.
When Our Worlds Collide

Book Cover:
The book cover is simple yet strikes a perfect chord to start off with. It can be guessed from the title and the cover that the story may revolve around two persons.

Author:
Aniesha Brahma is a passionate writer and tends to bring in a new way of approaching a love story. She believes that it is not always about the happy ending that is all about but, sometimes it’s about the story.

Plot:
It is a love story with a twist. It is not a story where we see the characters singing songs around the bushes but a story with a message. The story is about a girl Akriti and a boy Zyan Banerji. Akriti’s upbringing was difficult as she grew seeing trouble in her parent’s relationship which ultimately leads to a divorce. Due to this reason she was scared to open up with anyone and grew up with no friend’s around. At the age of 23 she started assisting at the coffee shop which was owned by her mother. Her creative ideas and the belief that one day the café will be one among the best café in the city made the place unique. She was able to renovate the café with the help of her friends and her co worker Ayub.

She had a childhood crush on Zyan which she often failed to express her love to him. He was a boy full of energy and positive approach;very well knew how to enjoy life and how small things in life make a lot of difference. How he finally pulled Akriti out of the bounds of her loneliness and helped her to come out of her confused mind to a decision is amazing to read.

Likes:
Liked the characters and could portray them easily. The best thing about the story is the moral hidden behind it. The book kept engrossed till the end and was not able to let it go without completing it.

Final Word:
The language used is simple and easy to grasp. The book is written in first person and is narrated by Akriti. This book could be a one time read at leisure time when one wants to read something different and inspiring.

So,let our worlds collide for something good in life:)

Book Details:

Love Thyself

One loves many things,
But self love is the king.

Dependency on others is biggest fear,
Self handling is very much clear.

Others may surprise with quirky stuff,
Self is nondescript and not tough.

One can be trained to be placid,
It's true love with determined bases.

Love yourself and then the rest,
Joy blends with you being first.

Love thyself then thy neighbor,
Journey surely ends at safe harbor.

Real Togetherness

“I want some pakoda’s”, said Mili. Sunita passed on a bowl. Mili was surprised to see the bowl of biscuits and said in a complaining manner, “Mamma I asked for pakoda’s  not biscuits”; Sunita came to reality hearing Mili’s loud tone, kept her Smartphone aside and passed on pakoda’s and sauce.

Isn’t this situation common in every household now -a -days? Situations may differ but we are all disconnected from this real world while very much attentive virtually. We all might have also noticed that though we sit next to each other but we don’t have words to speak rather we have a lot to share online.

We may have hundreds of friends on our social networking sites but still the real zing in life is missing. Real togetherness lies in spending quality as well as quantity time with each other minus our gadgets. It could be eating meals together, talking about each other’s experiences, sharing the joy and reverses, doing the house hold activities together, playing some outdoor games with kids. Switching off ourselves from the world around and switching in into the real world will definitely bring in balanced environment where kids get to know the importance of a family, its values and the rich culture that we are bestowed with.

Many small moments should be captured and saved in our heart to cherish the moment of togetherness.  The real happiness lies in understanding our near and dear ones, caring and loving one another. Let us break all the barriers which are unknowingly increasing the distance within us. The feeling of affection, oneness, expressive eyes, hug of friends, the giggles, those wiping of tears can surely not be felt virtually.

Mother Nature is always been teaching us the values of togetherness and is bestowing its unconditional love. When we visit a garden nature’s beauty mesmerizes us and keeps us engraved. The running on lush green lawns bare foot, the peeing of our mighty sun from the cloudy sky, the scented cool early morning breeze, the smell of wet floors, chirping of birds, that imitating the movement of creepy caterpillar are just incomparable to any kind of bliss. The simplicity in life and simple gestures can do wonders.
Kissan has taken a very beautiful initiative to remind us that we are really losing out something precious by locking ourselves indoors. Kissanpur  is a place where people enjoy life by blooming to the fullest to spread the vibrant colours of happiness and cheerfulness around. The smiling face of our near and dear ones is a real togetherness. It can be a reality it can be our own society and home if we take a little care by maintaining a balance between the digital world and reality.

A Winner !!!

Her empty eyes kept staring me;as if telling me that though she has lost game of life but have won many hearts .” How will I live without her now? Her smiling face was my strength, my satisfaction”, thought Geeta bidding goodbye to her daughter Sneha.

The claps resonated across the complete auditorium which jostled up Geeta from her deep thoughts. She was present there to receive the award for social service on behalf of her daughter. The event was organized to felicitate the members of the “Smile” organisation who worked day and night for the welfare of young girls to educate them and make them self dependent.

“It is difficult to absorb the fact that today Sneha didi is not with us, but she was an inspiration for many little girls like me. I am certain that she is here somewhere among us immortal. May I call upon the stage Mrs Geeta to receive the small token of love from all of us”, addressed a little girl smiling.

Now Geeta came to know why Sneha always said that,”Maa! You will never miss me”.

Sneha is present among us alive in these smiling faces.

Dreams - Our Propeller

Gazing at the sky, on a dark night day,
With subtle breeze and calmness stay,
Stretched like a dome, it is a kind of craft,
Dexterity of lord with lots of shining stars.

Feeling cozy in his lap, Asked my dad,
When will I grow, to reach that majestic black?
How can I own them? And pluck some for you,
How charming they look, Dad, I want them too.

Smiling and pleased dad answered pointing high,
You do already have them, oh! My sweetie pie,
My eyes shone with a spark, eager to feel,
I ran back and forth, surprised and relieved.
Dreams are like twinkling stars !!

Do let me know, where are they hidden?
I do also need some for my buddy and kin
Will never let them go, I Promise you dad
Just give me the clue to find out that.

You already have bundles, deep within,
In the form of dreams, you surely own them.
Dreams are like stars which twinkle in us,
and gives us hope to be prosperous.

Dreams are like twinkling stars which propel us in a right direction.

Unique Creation

All have same inherent,
but each one is different.
All brings a glimmer smile,
that dwindles away fatal pile.

God is impartial while creation,
gives each one unique formation.

Then why one judges individuality,
it’s natural to be unique in creativity.
Let each one roll on its terms,
else there is no fun in life’s churn.
