Mahatma Gandhi ,a hope ,an inspiration ,a hero whose enigmatic personality is deep buried within the hearts of every Indian. A simple poem to instill the greatness of Bapu in children.
Round Spectacles and a walking stick,
Charkha was his favorite pick.
He always liked to remain simple,
his ideals made our life twinkle.
Taught us many life lessons,
there was no place for violence.

Heroic efforts he showed each time,
won every battle with a smile.
From many obstacles he got us through,
was lovingly called as "Bapu".
He is none other than Mahatma Gandhi,
I bow my head before this great personality.
