One man any person idolizes,
the man to whom
everybody look up to,
the man who smiles at end of tiring day,
the man who
makes everything possible,
the man who has solutions to each undefined problem
is none other than adorable FATHER.
Father sets an example to children how to move ahead in life
though obstacles surround you. His teachings and lessons help one to reach the
goal with much clarity and solidity. A father is
the person who sets a goal, believes in us and shows us the path to reach out
to the greatest height. A belief in father’s heart makes a person so stronger
that any big obstacle seems to be a tiny pebble; and that kind of blind belief
takes you long in journey of life.
My father made me strong,
to continue alone and go long.
The bond is now set to loose,
So one is confident for any cruise.
Fathers are so strong, and mostly are less
expressive than mothers. Children too generally hug mothers now and then and
less often to dad. Why is it so have you ever thought? On second thought fathers
are posed as spinal cord of the family and strongest while everyone else in
family feels weak at a particular situation; he stands like a rock always
steady in any high tide circumstances. So a simple thank you now and then shall
make your relationship stronger and merrier, so it’s wonderful to thank your dad.
Fathers are so extraordinary, that mind
boggles when it comes to gift them something special. Even saying thank you to
parents is hard at times, seem simple but it's hard task; isn’t it. Sometimes
gifts express one’s feeling in correct manner. But what to gift as every gift
seems to be petty in front of your role model father.
After a lot of thought I ended to give him something that will
make me connect to him more and take his positive vibes and blessings. It is
none other than a tight hug to loving dad. “My
fingers may be small but I can still wrap daddy around them.” – Anonymous.
Hug is an exceptional gift that one can give
as many as one wishes and one gets an immense happiness in return. It’s a
priceless gift that will fill your heart with treasure of memorable moment and
compassion.
So go hug your dad and gift him a remarkable
present. Many of us maybe staying away from our loving father’s but don’t miss
your chance when you meet him.
@Sonal
Truly superb.. :)

DeleteThis is such a wonderful article. Yes, we often fail to express our feelings to our fathers, maybe because even they don't do it.
ReplyDeleteReciprocation is just mere gesture, one has to start the expression, so this fathers day lets start to express our feelings to Father.
DeleteWhat would we gift someone who is selfless, our hero , a role model and most of all he's a dad. O e known him as someone who is not interested in the gesture of gifting. But a warm smile and heartfelt hug sure is to move him to happy tears.
ReplyDeleteYes a warm feelings expressed from bottom of heart are treasure to any relationship.

True Snehalata, Father completes his duties without any word and smiles his way seeing children progressing.
DeleteYou made me emotional through your post. Nice one again. Sometimes we underrated our father's feelings because they are not as expressive as mothers most of the time.

ReplyDeleteYes Dipika, the way our parents looked towards Father, and the way we communicate with our father and the way our kids communicate with their fathers have changed through times, but the thing that remains same is love and respect.
DeleteThis is such a heartfelt post, fathers are truly the backbone of any family and a little hug and a thank you could cheer them up. Such a lovely thought.
ReplyDeleteThanks Neha, a gift that can be shining always when it is most cherished in the relationship.
DeleteThis made me so emotional, truly a hug can do wonders.
ReplyDeleteYes Jhilmil, a hug really does magic.
DeleteFather's sacrifices often go unnoticed. Nothing than a warm hug to express our gratitude to the most loved individual of the family.
ReplyDeleteSometimes yes they go unnoticed and many times he does not express, both the things make Fathers special.
DeleteGrowing up with my Bapa(father) ad a role modelin every phase of the life, I love him dearly. But until recent years I never expressed that to him. Maybe because he understood us/me even when we never spoke about it. Today he feels delighted when I express my emotions and share without hesitate. Loved this post. It beautiful even after years, emotional haven't changed.
ReplyDeleteEmotions when expressed can do a great job in any relationship. Glad you are expressing them so often now.

DeleteThanks Bushra :)
ReplyDeleteWe talk a lot about mom's contribution but we hardly talk about father's contribution. Fathers are like the silent contributors. Nothing can be a better gift than a tight and a warm hug on Father's Day.
ReplyDeleteNo gift is perfect for a father, but itsbthe thought that counts. Loved reading your father's day post. Brought a smile rk my face.
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautifully expressed tribute to the incredible role of a father. The admiration and respect for the man who serves as a guiding light, a source of strength, and a problem-solver resonates deeply. Fathers indeed have a unique ability to inspire, support, and bring joy even during challenging times. They are truly deserving of our love and appreciation.
ReplyDeleteMy Dad passed away 5 months back due to cancer, I wish I could hug him. The only consolation is that I hugged him enough till his last days to show him how much I appreciated and loved him.
ReplyDeleteMy Dad passed away 5 months back due to cancer, If he was around I would surely have hugged him. The only consolation remains that I hugged him enough till his last days to show my love and appreciation for him.
ReplyDeleteYour heartfelt words beautifully capture the essence of a father's role and the significance of expressing gratitude. The idea of giving a tight hug as a gift is so genuine and touching. It's a reminder to cherish the precious moments and the bond with our fathers. I miss my dad though!
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful ode! Yes, fathers are the guiding pillars of our lives. Their wisdom and strength inspire us to reach for the stars and become the best versions of ourselves.
ReplyDeleteFathers are the pillars of strength and wisdom in our lives. They teach us valuable lessons, provide guidance, and lead by example. One of the best gifts that one can give to their father is a tight loving hug. A hug says it all.
ReplyDeleteIt's true that fathers aren't expressive but one can see their love from the way they care for us. They are our pillar of strength and also our safety net.
ReplyDeleteFather... who is strict, caring, loving, friendly and protective.... My baby's father is like that and I feel good to see the bonding between them. For me father is the one whom I love but also scared of his disciplinary rules, he is the one who face reflects my pain, my happiness and my achievements, he is a figure whom I can hug and cry when I feel so. He is aging and still so caring... when he looks at me the spark in his eyes... OH that's a blessing... I Love you Baba ... blessed to be your daughter
ReplyDeleteFather's are special though I feel they don't get the attention like how the mothers are portrayed. They are truly the best to each it's own.
ReplyDeleteI truly loved reading this post. The post is full of positive vibes . Undoubtedly, dad's actions are always inspirational and inspiring.
ReplyDeleteI loved your words buddy and I second you in the thought that hugs are the best gift for our dads which we often hesitate from.
