Wheel-O-Life

Shelly was upset with the pace things were going on, she wanted to rest, but could not, as she was sole breadwinner for her family.

And sudden marriage proposal from John confused her even more.

To which her brother said, “Life is like a wheel which leads us into different phases of life; there is no stopping and looking back, just go ahead.”

Shelly understood, only taking forward steps life would move on; and her brother assured that he would support family.

First time in life Shelly considered, “I, me and myself above family” and accepted proposal.

  3. Great take on the two prompts. Glad she thought highly enough of herself to consider her needs first. Often as women we don't and are consumed with guilt thinking we have to take care of everyone else first.
