Mother - Our Lifeline

A: I am getting bored, what to do
B: No worries I will entertain you
A: I am hungry, give me my favorite food
B: Here it is your yummy dish
A: I am losing confidence
B: You can do it, give your best
A: I want to play
B: Let’s play dear
A: I am in big confusion, what shall I do?
B: You are free to do what your heart wishes to, don’t afraid I am there for you.

Doesn’t the above lines sound familiar to all, and remind us of ourselves, yes the person ‘A’ is you as a child and person ‘B’ is none other than your loving mother. Mother plays many roles as an Entertainer, as a Cook, as a Manager, as a Companion, Mentor, Guide, and Friend. Child just needs to wish and mother fulfills it, however difficult the task may be, mother is always the rescuer. “Mother love is the fuel that enables a normal human being to do the impossible.”- Marion C. Garretty. Mother is the one who understands the whole story by a single expression, or should I say by a single glance of child’s face. This relation is so special because with rest of the world you connect when you are born but you are attached to your mom right from the beginning. Every Mother, lifelong takes care of child and feels proud of how her imbibed morale and values are appreciated in the society; such appreciation of upbringing washes away all tiredness and the mother is rejuvenated. And child’s values are mostly the reflection of the mother.

Mothers are our Lifeline

Few times when rests of people are judging you, mother is the only one who just understands you and is always by your side as a rock support. There may be different phases of life where we juggle to establish ourselves, our point of view; mother guides us to the right path and great courage as it is required to do that in big world in future. Our Mother protects us from all dangers and always acts as a shield against all odds, but also lets us free like a bird. And whenever you are in trouble the moment you close your eyes and pray for help, the first person your prayers reaches or the one who can sense the discomfort in you is Mother, though you may be many miles away, but your strings are always connected. Mother is such an empowered soul that she is considered next to God, and I am sure God wouldn’t mind coming next to mother in any of prayers. William Makepeace Thackeray very fabulously quoted
“Mother is the name for God in the lips and hearts of little children.”
