Jittery reunion : Mixed bag of Feelings Poetry

My heart beats faster as ever,
as today I gonna feel same shiver;
which I felt when I entered the world,
with my attitude and stood with herd.

My eyes searching a friendly face,
or may be a one with smiling trace.
A kind gesture today was important,
as this will set my ship with merchant.

Slowly years passed and we were together,
now breathing without them was tougher.
Each day our friendships saw many chapters,
with each semester a friendship lesson was to cater.

After years I gonna face the faces,
which were once my own traces.
Formal informal how to greet them,
or should I wait for their recognition

Reunions are surely giving me jitters,
today again heart says flow with river.
Trust your rein of friendship strings,
speak your heart out without a blink.

  1. Wow! Relationship as an ocean, a book, a college! I think that the more time has passed, the less we're sure if memory is something we made or something "objectively" true. Will we see friendly faces or strangers?

    1. Yes Susan , meeting a person after long years is similar to meeting a stranger, hoping my reunions see more friendship.
